Our tried and tested products are widely considered by European industry to be the best in terms of capability, endurance and quality.

It is a recognised fact by elements within the UK defence sector that the provision of specialist military equipment is of criticial importance in terms of both security and infrastructure reconstruction.

Astrak have developed a supply chain and logistics network that can quickly serve the needs of the Ministry of Defence (MoD), Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) and other  NATO member states and we are continuing to develop this capacity to ensure the needs of the military, today and tomorrow are met.

Support for Military Construction Machinery & Equipment

Astrak has a long history of providing high-quality undercarriage and wear parts to the European civilian market place making us perfectly placed to support the defence industry.

We fully understand the demands on military construction machinery and our range of undercarriage parts are designed to perform in all environments.

Our company supports most major makes and models of crawler excavators (10T+), bulldozers, mini and midi excavators (0.75-9T), tracked dumpers, drilling rigs and tracked robots.

Our warehouses stock track chains, final drives, idlers, rollers, track adjusters, track shoes, track groups, rubber pads and we also stock a wide selection of metric and imperial track nuts and bolts, sprocket and sprocket segment bolts, roller bolts and hardened washers to suit many models of tracked equipment.

Composite Rubber Tracks For Military Vehicles

Military composite rubber track systems are an exciting new development in the light armoured support vehicle arena.

The benefits that composite rubber tracks bring military applications are many and include increased blast resistance, radical reduction in vibration, lower operational volume, minimal maintenance, increased traction in harsh environments and ease of fitment while in the field.

Our specialist knowledge of rubber track technology make us ideally placed to supply tracks for vehicles such as the well-known Hägglunds BV 206, a tracked articulated and all-terrain carrier used by many armed forces units across Europe. We also support many variants of this vehicle including the BV 206F, RaBv 2061, PvBv 2062 and PvBv 2063.

Astrak holds a comprehensive range of composite rubber tracks in stock from 180mm wide to 800mm wide to fit around 4000 models of excavators, skid-steer loaders, powered tracked barrow, tracked dumpers, tracked robots, tracked access platforms and other tracked equipment. Thanks to our extensive and resilient supply chain, we can guarantee stock availability on any machine.

Components For Military EOD Remote Control Vehicles (RCVs)

Remote Control Vehicles (RCVs) are critical to the safe conduct of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) tasks throughout the world and ensuring that these robots perform flawlessly is essential.

Astrak can quickly provide high performance rubber tracks and drive sprockets to fit numerous different types of remote control vehicles.
