Astrak has recently launched a smartphone app for our UK customers.
Our customer service team have created a tracking app to support our customers even further.
The free app, which is available for iOS and Android smartphones, allows customers to track the delivery of their undercarriage orders quickly and easily from anywhere within the UK, letting them know precisely when they can expect to get their machinery back online.
Customers can track their orders instantly by clicking a link found in an order confirmation delivered via email to the customer. If the customer has installed the app previously on their smartphone, clicking the link will automatically open it and display their order’s progress. If the app has not yet been installed on their smartphone, their device will automatically prompt them to download and install the app from the relevant online store.
Group Operations Manager John Wyllie commented, “Today’s announcement is very exciting for the customer service team here at Astrak. We are confident that our app will quickly become a valuable tool for all of our customers, especially for those located on active construction sites where information on deliveries is essential.” John continued, “Keeping pace with our commitment to enhance and develop the services that we currently provide our customers, we have already started work to extend the app’s functionality even further.”

In the coming months, the we will roll the app out to Astrak’s other locations, including France, Germany and Denmark.
